A fifties icon, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air (the legendary hot-one”) two-door hardtop cuts a fine figure on the cobbled streets of Trinidad. This perfectly proportioned design classic combined substance and style, aided by a Y-shaped chrome running the length of the car. Chevrolet called it “sweet, smooth and sassy.” The sports coupe’s Super Turbo-Fire V-8 cranked out as much as 283 hp (a similar version of the classic V-8 Chevy engine is still manufactured today).
